The Commercial marketplace is as important as the Domestic and in an age of an ever greener trend to more efficient technology, the Little Plumber Commercial range supplies a solution to the ravages of hard water and limescale without the use of chemicals or maintenance. Furthermore, the removal and prevention of Limescale are achieved with the minimum of electrical power and each unit now uses a 5v feed.
The guiding principle is simply to wind the aerials around the water pipe conducting the hard water to the equipment being used which is prone to scaling up causing poor performance. The composition of the pipe can be plastic or metal (not lead)
Such equipment can range from water heaters, cooling towers and air conditioning units, steam ovens or cooling jackets for plastic extrusion machines, and any equipment or building where hard water causes scale and reduces performance.

Hi. I purchased from you recently a Little Plumber LP3 unit for my property in The Cotswolds. My water supply is bore-hole derived and extremely hard. I thought I would share some observations with you. I fitted the unit on Saturday 30th January and by Sunday evening I had noticed a significant improvement in the softness and quality of the cold water supply. So much so that finally I was able to drink the water after many years of suffering heavy limescale and associated deposits. Further, heavy scale build up in the kettle had started to turn in to a slushy deposit which by 4th January had completely disappeared. A final observation if I may. The unit itself came with two pieces of velcro to be used for fixing purposes. Both failed immediately as the only available wall space was bare stone. Would it be possible to supply the unit with a small bracket or fixing holes in the unit itself? The unit is now fixed with string. Further, there were no tie straps in the package to attach cables. I supplied my own. Overall the unit seems to be functioning as described. Regards Ian

13 years ago we bought two 'Little Plumber LP1 electronic water softeners for our property as we live in an area of hard water and suffered from its effects. The resultant limescale prevented our soaps, sham poos and baths from lathering properly. As we did not want to install a traditional salt softener due to the high cost we decided on the Little Plumber units. I can confirm that since they were installed the results are nothing short of amazing and in the intervening years we have not suffered any effects of limescale or hard water. One noticeable improvement is that our skin that used to be dry and itchy has been completely cured thanks to the Little Plumber' In conclusion, I can testify to the fact that all the claims made by the Little Plumber's supplier are true and that I have nothing but praise for the units we purchased. They have lasted well and have cost us next to nothing to run and absolutely nothing to maintain.

Just over 20 years I purchased several Little Plumber devices from a plumbing wholesaler in Ringwood Hampshire called Ringwood Plumbing Ltd. I have fitted a number of these for customers over the years. Very sceptical at first, but I had a customer in tears as she needed a new combi boiler due to scale blocking the combi hot water heating elements. We fitted a LP1, the customer went on holiday (we turned boiler off but left hot water tap partially running) 3 weeks later the boiler was sufficiently descaled to allow her to run a bath without the boiler overheating and things have got better.

Easy to fit. In a hard water area and water taste is not very nice. immediate benefit as to taste so will not need to fit water fiilter, saving a considerable cost as braided pipework and little space to fit it. Will report again when 6 months are up. Very pleased so far. Had already had good reports, from other flat owners that these electronic devices work well

After much research, I bought a little plumber, our water is very hard and it was causing a lot of issues. My plumber who came to do some work, and fitted it for me advised me not to get too excited about it. So I didn't. But it is very good! There is still a grey powdery residue that build up but- it just wipes off! No hard build up on taps, kettle etc over the past year at all since it's been fitted. This is a huge change and makes me very happy, especially after previously having to have various taps, shower etc replaced after just a few years. I love the ongoing low cost too, as it uses so little electricity.

Was a bit sceptical if it would work but it did and really quickly water is a lot better and the kettle is even lime free and we live in the north east and really hard water loads of lime build up money well spent

We live in a hard water area and have to replace the electric shower every 2 years. Thought we would try this as the shower needed to be replaced. Within 2 weeks the LP2 has paid for itself as we have not needed to replace the shower, which is now nearly limescale free. We have also noticed that the dishwasher and washing machine programmes are faster and the sinks and bath are much cleaner. Easy to fit if you know what you’re doing - perhaps the negative reviews are because the LP hasn’t been fitted correctly? Would 100% recommend.

This is one of the best things I’ve ever bought! The water in my home was very hard causing major lime scale buildup. I’ve had this product for just over 2 weeks and it’s working very well no more scrubbing shower screen and the taps are loosing their lime encrusting 👍🏻
